3D Asset Batch Creation: Product Renders for Catalogue

As part of our client's business expansion, we were requested to do a comprehensive update of their online product catalogue. We developed all 3D assets from scratch to completion in three stages: 3D modeling and sculpting; texturing and lighting; and rendering.

To achieve a high level of photorealism, consistency, and efficiency, we strictly adhered to our primary software pipeline: Blender/Maya, Substance 3D Painter, and Keyshot.

All 3D assets were meticulously developed to faithfully reflect the actual product photographs. From modeling and sculpting, to texture painting, it was crucial to include the tiny bits of details like dirt, rust, dents, scratches, and other imperfections that tell the characteristics of each product from manufacturing to real-world usage.

The project spanned an entire month and I contributed a total of around 300 rendered images of the 100 products assigned to me.
