A Christmas-themed passion project in the format of 15-second unskippable ad that I created with Blender and After Effects.

The project spanned 3 weeks including storyboarding, modeling, animation, simulation, lighting, and post-production.

The story and mood were heavily driven by a fan-favorite track from a rhythm game called O2Jam. Key assets were a mix of custom models by me and BlenderKit assets.

Fluid, rigid body and all other physics simulations were iterated several times to perfectly sync with the sound design. Each scene took around 4 - 12 hrs for the lighting and rendering.

Final compositing was done in After Effects following a multi-pass EXR workflow. Final deliverable formats included ProRes 422 and H.264.
